Do they exist besides fog? I've yet to see any on my way up to 40 and with a graphics engine as advanced as Conan's it would be really nice if there were dust storms, thunder storms, blizzards, rainbows, the works!!! One of AoC biggest selling points is that the world feels alive and the game has genuine atmosphere.
Also don't candy coat it. Give us the good stuff like the sky/light getting darker when a nasty storm rolls in. With these amazing shaders and shadowing it would be incredible to see the effect a lightning bolt on a dark night would look against the background.
If it lags people then give them an option to disable it.
